On November 11, in Moscow, there was the annual All-Russian Sustainability Award ceremony. The award is called “Changes management. Visionaries”, it appreciates sustainable impact on economy, ecology and society. Melon Fashion Group took the second place in the Society and Business nomination for their participation in the assisted employment project.

The Company pays great attention to corporate social responsibility and sustainable development. The project created in the partnership with Rabota-I was started in St Petersburg in 2013. Due to this programme, young people with special needs, orphanage graduates and those from correctional schools get their first job experience, self- assuredness and a possibility to show to society that they can work as equals and contribute to companies with their labour and persistence. At present, the programme works in such companies as IKEA, DPD, KFC, SWISSAM, Baltika, Boushè, Spasibo charity shops, Lenta,Dochki-Synochki, Leroy Merlin, Petrovich, Sberbank and others.

It is noteworthy that in May 2021, the project became the winner of the HR Brand award in Equal Opportunities nomination.
